15th November 2010 was a special afternoon for Kirsty. A tribute paid to Local Hero's in Greenock's West Stewart Street uderpass. Regeneration body Riverside Inverclyde decided to launch a campaign to find 32 stars, both from past and present. Local people nominated Kirsty to be one of the 32 Local Hero's. Kirsty was nominated for all the hard work she puts into helping others. Ashley Spark who nominated Kirsty described her as a "Role Model" and so this is the title Riverside Inverclyde gave to Kirsty, Kirsty Taylor - Role Model. Now Kirsty's permanent medal is in the ground at the entrance to the underpass. Kirsty was also given her very own personal medal, which is the same as the one in the ground of the underpass, which was presented to Kirsty by the Mayor. Well done Kirsty! The Photo's are below. Kirsty is now 22 and Single! She also suffers from Arthritis which she took from a young age and when not visiting doctor appointments she spends her time with family and friends. She loves to write poems and so she continues to write when she gets the time.

Spiritual Eyes - An Evening of Clairvoyance started in 2007,created by Kirsty and at the age of 18! The evenings took place in Port Glasgow Town Hall every Tuesday until December 2009. Spiritual Eyes was to allow Kirsty to work on platform and work with the public. Kirsty also wanted to help Charities but also to help the younger people with their own Spiritual Development as Kirsty found it extremly hard to be accepted with mediums in the area. The evenings where very successful raising £9,923.82 from 2007 to 2009 for Charity. Evenings continuined not every week but on selected dates in 2010 and now in 2011!. Visit the events page and news page to see when the next Spiritual Eyes Evening will be on. (Announced soon!)

Spiritual Eyes, made it possible for Kirsty to work with great mediums and friends, introduced younger mediums and helped many Charities. The evenings Spiritual Eyes brings are special to Kirsty and her family who helped run the event each week.

2010 was a very busy year for Kirsty, visiting and demonstrating in Spiritualist Churches, doing Private Readings, running a Developement Circle every fortnight and of course selected dates of Spiritual Eyes. Kirsty also went along to Derek Acorah's very first True Vision workshop in Stratford Upon Avon, which was held in the beautiful Menzies Welcombe Hotel. Kirsty would highly encourage anyone who is interested to develop their own spiritual abilities further and if you would like to learn from Derek or get to know him a little better, then you can visit the True Vision Workshop website to see when the next workshop will take place. Kirsty, her Dad - Richard and Granny - Mary all enjoyed the workshop and spending time with Derek. Thank You to Linda and David who put the whole thing together and for taking excellent care of all who attended the workshop. Congratulations Derek on the first fantastic workshop and I hope to be able to attend many more, see you in Glasgow in April!
